Rise & Shine Sunshine :)
Having a good start to your day is always a way to put yourself in a good mood. How many times do you wake up in the morning and think ughhhh I don't want to get out of bed!? I try to start every morning with a positive outlook on my day and begin to think of what I can accomplish, because the more productive I can be often the better I feel. It's good to start your day with a nice smile and nice goodmorning to yourself. Eating a good breakfast is a great way to start the day; they do say it's the most important meal of the day! Your metabolism starts to work and your body has the energy it needs to get moving. I like to wake up with a good amount of time to get ready in the morning as well, I feel as though rushing only makes me crazy and I like to relax and enjoy myself and it helps me make sure I don't forget anything. If you have the time, working out in the morning is an awesome way to get those endorphins flowing immediately and make you feel as though you can take on whatever life may throw at you! If you don't have so much time, yoga or pilates is uplifting and really only requires an extra 20 minutes to your morning :). I definitly agree with this. If I wake up with a plan of what I have to do for the day I feel so much more in control and less stressed. Sometimes I also plan what I have to do the next day before I go to bed, so that when I wake up I know exactly what needs to be done. For the most part when I wake up in the morning I feel pretty rested and awake but I do think I need to start eating breakfast on a more regualr basis. I notice on the few mornings that I do eat breakfast that I get that extra energy boost and I am able to stay more focused.
ReplyDeleteI agree, waking up with a smile surely does help to start off your day in a positive mood. Breakfast is a key meal in your day, and somethin I as well should get better at. I tend to not leave much time to get ready in the morning as I would rather the extra sleep. To make sure I dont forget things on my way out I put what I need for the next day on my kitchen table with my keys, which also avoids the morning scream "I cant find my keys!".
